Can you run a bootcamp for a group of women on a hen do who are likely to be hung over and probably not that keen to take part? Not the best of briefs but not one to be daunted by a challenge, the answer was “I think so…..” So, in company with Josh (JMS Training) we headed out to meet the group of ladies in the idyllic East Devon countryside at a large cottage which had been rented for the weekend’s festivities.
Once it was established that the service that we were supplying was not akin to that on offer from the butler in the buff from their first night, we set up and were ready to get going. Whilst there certainly was lingering smell of alcohol in the air (them not us) and a few worried looking faces (us not them) all inhibitions were soon off the as the ladies threw themselves with full spirit into the games and challenges.
Hungry hippos was probably the highlight and the tactical refreshment stops throughout were definitely necessary, even if the refreshment of choice was prosecco and not water. I would like to thank all the ladies for the enthusiasm with which they took part and the laughter throughout was hopefully a sign that they did actually enjoy it! Good luck to the bride to be on her upcoming wedding day.
